After seeing Mark Wahlberg's rigorous daily schedule that involves an unholy 2.30am wake-up call and a 4.00am workout, James Corden decided to head over to the actor's home gym to see if it's for real.
The Carpool Karaoke star took a camera crew along to document his efforts and it makes for a highly amusing watch.
Looks like Wahlberg wasn't pulling anyone's leg.
"It's half past two in the morning, I just woke up and I'm going to work out with Mark Wahlberg," a groggy Corden tells the camera at the start of his video.
"It is ten to three in the morning. According to Mark Wahlberg's Instagram schedule he's praying right now.
"And so am I. I'm praying he cancels."
"This is ridiculous. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever done", a truly bleary-eyed Corden says as he enters Wahlberg's gym.
"It's the middle of the night. Why are we doing this?!", he asks and it's a very fair point.
"Isn't it nice and peaceful though?", Wahlberg asks him earnestly, to which Corden rightfully responds: "I was more peaceful when I was flat out asleep."
"The workout's going to suck but when you have a shake and some turkey burgers after and you'll attack the rest of the day", the Hollywood star assures Corden.
"I'm going to go back to bed! It's the middle of the night!" Corden fires back.
Wahlberg can't wrap his head around Corden's (very normal) sleep schedule.
"You didn't go to sleep till ten thirty? What were you doing?", he asks him.
"Being a normal person!", Corden says while bursting out laughing. "I was being a normal person and going to sleep!"
Wahlberg tries to give Corden a pep talk of sorts, saying he'll want to be in shape for his daughters in the future.
"When the girls get older and boys start coming over ringing the bell you gotta be ready", he tells him.
"I'll just say I know Mark Wahlberg, so don't mess with me because I'll call him and he'll come over provided it's before 5.00pm otherwise he'll be asleep", Corden deadpans.
Even Wahlberg can't keep a straight face.
Cue a montage of some seriously impressive workout routines involving weights, incline machines, skipping ropes and bouncy exercise balls, which Corden soon falls foul of.
"I don't know what happened there. I think it might be the ground. Is this level? Is this completely flat? Feels like it might be a slightly on an incline. You might wanna look at that", Corden advises.
