Carol and Robbie have had their fair share of ups and downs, but the former couple have an easy and warm rapport. In Thursday night's episode of Fair City they are getting along famously - that is, until Carol drops a bombshell on him.
Coming up on the soap, Robbie shows Carol the football jersey he's bought for Jack and she's touched by the gesture.
"I'm going to get himself and myself season tickets for the football," Robbie suggests excitedly.
Carol looks pained, telling him: "Myself and Jack are going to be gone before Christmas."
"I could drive across and pick him up for the matches," Robbie suggests.
Carol is steadfast in her convictions, telling Robbie: "No. Once we're gone, we're gone. Clean cut."
Robbie is floored.
