RTÉ television and 2fm presenter Bláthnaid Treacy has revealed that she has joined the presenting team of Virgin Media One’s fashion and entertainment show Xposé.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, she said: "First day working on Xposé! Gonna be a busy girl for the next while as I'm continuing with all my other gigs at the same time but *so* looking forward to working with the amazing team here for the next few months #xposé"

The presenter, who began her showbiz career when she appeared on Glenroe as Biddy and Miley's daughter Denise, will continue hosting the National Chart Show on 2fm on Friday nights.

Virgin Media confirmed that the 30-year-old Bray native is doing freelance hosting with Xposé while Glenda Gilson takes maternity leave.

Treacy is also planning her wedding to long-term boyfriend, musician Charlie Mooney, who proposed last August while the couple were on holiday in Mexico

She has also hosted Dancing with the Stars spin-off show Can't Stop Dancing on RTÉ One and has previously co-presented RTÉ2’s Two Tube.
