Jake Carter, who is gearing up for debut Dublin show in Vicar Street later this month, performed an amazing cover version of the Picture This song Jane exclusively for RTÉ Entertainment, check it out here.

The 20-year-old Liverpudlian singer and 2018's Dancing with the Stars winner is set to play the Dublin venue on October 29, which he told us feels "a bit surreal."

"I’ve been to Vicar Street so many times to see different concerts, I’ve seen my brother [Nathan Carter] in Vicar Street when he played there, I love the venue, so it’s kind of a bit surreal that I’m actually playing in Dublin, I can’t wait!", he said.

Ahead of the gig, Jake treated us to an acoustic version of the beautiful song Jane by Kildare pop-rockers Picture This.

Jake previously told RTÉ Entertainment that it's "kind of inevitable" that he will record a duet with his big brother, country crooner Nathan Carter.

He is currently working on his debut album, which he is hoping to release in early 2019.

"I’ve got plenty of songs there, but with it being my first album I really want it to be the best it can be", he said.

"I want to pick the songs that mean the most to me because it is my first album and I want it to cherish it, I’m going to cherish it for my life, so I want it to be right.

"So I’m going to keep writing, there’s loads of songs there now that I’m definitely going to put on the album because they already mean a lot to me, and I’m going to try and find the other songs to fit the puzzle I guess."

Jake Carter plays Vicar Street on Monday, October 29. Tickets are available now through usual Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
