.Kathryn Thomas has posted a touching tribute to her daughter online and admits she is "so proud" of her "curious and funny" bundle of joy.
The 39-year-old presenter and her fiancé, Padraig McLoughlin, welcomed a bouncing baby girl called Ellie into the world at the end of March, and the first-time mum admits how it is exciting watching her child learn and discover new things.
Taking to Instagram, Thomas shared an adorable snap of Ellie, along with the post: "6 months old baby girl....I can’t believe it. 😮 Every day I’m excited by what you are discovering. You are strong and willful and curious and funny and full on (and exhausting...not gona lie🙀).
"I’m so proud of you already. I won’t always be the perfect mum, l may never pair your socks right🙄.......honestly life is too short. Thomas previously said on social media that her newborn "changed our entire world", before thanking everyone for their well wishes and messages.
