In this exclusive sneak peek of the next episode from Carrigstown, Yates wants Cathal to withdraw his complaint against him.
Coming up in Wednesday's Fair City, Yates approaches Cathal and floats the idea of him withdrawing the complaint.
"Why would I do that?", Cathal asks.
"Because you would be doing me a favour. Maybe there's information that might be useful", Yates responds.
Cathal isn't impressed, saying incredulously: "Are you serious?"
"My so-called superiors think I'm a bad cop", Yates replies. "Ok, one time only I'll be a bad cop, but you withdraw that complaint."
