Spokesperson for Electric Picnic Lindsey Holmes told RTÉ News' Jackie Fox that around 3,000 people were expected to arrive at Stradbally Hall on Saturday.

After a rainy night at Stradbally Hall, Day Two continued in Co Laois, with Massive Attack, NERD and Dua Lipa the headliners and must-sees.
Irish acts also on Saturday's bill included The Minutes, Le Galaxie and 90s girl band B* Witched. Hozier was a surprise guest earlier on Saturday during Mavis Staples' set.

Friday night headliner Kendrick Lamar played an explosive set which will go down in Electric Picnic lore.
Jackie Fox writes:
"Fans rushed to the stage in heavy rain to see the Pulitzer Prize-winner.
"From the beginning, Lamar's emotion hypnotised the crowd.
"The DAMN. rapper passionately hammered out tracks like HUMBLE., DNA. and King Kunta to tens of thousands of people.
"Drenched Picnickers screamed his fast-paced, sometimes politically-fuelled lyrics back at him.
"His unassuming power charged Stradbally Hall, leaving a big space to fill for the remaining headliners this weekend."
@kendricklamar Could you turn the volume down please, I’m at Electric Picnic and I’m trying to have a decent kip. Kind Regards, Tanya.
