There was great excitement when it was revealed that former Red Rock star Sean Mahon would be joining the cast of EastEnders this summer, and now viewers can get a first look of the actor in character as Ray arrives on The Square.
The Irish actor is playing the mysterious ex-husband of Mel Owen, and step-dad to her son, Hunter - and he looks set to wreak havoc in Walford.
Viewers have already met Ray's sister Ciara, ex-wife of the Irish gangster Aidan Maguire, suggesting a chequered past.
Things have been looking up for Jack and Mel's relationship, but Jack is thrown when Ray suddenly arrives in E20.
