There's a star-studded new US drama called 9-1-1, the UK version of Don't Tell the Bride is back, while Picnic at Hanging Rock comes to an end . . .
Pick of the day
9-1-1, 9.00pm, Sky Witness & NOW TV
Don't know if this will be any use, but the cast is hugely impressive and TV gold fingers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear are the creators. It's got a hell of a lot going for it.
Academy Award nominee Angela Bassett - most recently seen in Mission: Impossible – Fallout - leads the charge as LAPD officer Athena Grant, alongside fire-fighter Bobby Nash (Peter Kraus of Six Feet Under fame) and 911 operator Abby Clark (Connie Britton, Nashville and Friday Night Lights).
It looks like the hugely enjoyable Chicago Fire has got itself some serious competition here.

Ending Tonight
Picnic at Hanging Rock, 9.00pm, BBC Two
Although it took a while to get going – eight episodes was many two too many to tell the tale – this adaptation of the famous Australian novel starring Natalie Dormer has ultimately been worth watching.
In a flashback to the Christmas holidays before the picnic, Sara (Inez Curro) joins Miranda (Lily Sullivan) on her family’s cattle station.
Sara is the happiest she has ever been but Miranda is furious at having to return to the college, refusing to be groomed for marriage - and threatens to run away.
Back in 1900, Hester (Natalie Dormer) has grown increasingly paranoid that vengeful Arthur (Philip Quast) is behind the disappearances and coming after her.
