Having already written an award-winning account of his mental health struggles, Blizzards singer Niall Breslin has revealed that his debut children’s book is due to be published in October.
The Magic Moment is a "picture book", according to publisher Gill Books. The book is illustrated by children's book author and artist Sheena Dempsey, who previously did the artwork for Hungry Babies by TV presenter Fearne Cotton and Jo Simmons' The Dodo Made Me Do It.

The former Voice of Ireland coach also co-wrote children’s book The Little Book of Sound with Dr Malie Coyle and Susan Quirke.
Bressie published his self-help book and memoir Me and My Mate Jeffery in 2015 and it went on to win the Popular Non-Fiction Book of the Year at the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards.
The book chronicled the his struggles with depression and mental health, and speaking to RTÉ Entertainment at the awards ceremony he said that his old teacher would be shocked that he had even been nominated.
"I'd say my English teacher is absolutely raging in my old school," he said. "It all happened quite fast. I decided I was going to do it and didn't think too much about it and just went for it.
"I just wrote my story and people connected with it. I tried to keep it as raw as possible. I never thought I'd write a book. If you've a story to tell anyone can do it."
