Andrew Brady has released a statement addressing recent claims he was cheating on fiancée Caroline Flack.
The 38-year-old Love Island host and 27-year old reality TV star ended their engagement earlier this month, just two months after the proposal.
Flack confirmed the separation in a statement. which read: "I'm sad to announce that Andrew and I have decided to part ways. Unfortunately it was not to be.
"I was him all the best. At least there's a Villa waiting for me. It's back to the ol' grafting."
Brady, who was previously involved in reality shows The Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother, posted a similar statement to his Instagram story.
"Sad to announce Caroline and I have decided to part ways," he posted. Unfortunately it was not meant to be and I wish her all the best in the future."
Taking to Twitter, Brady has now opened up about the break up and admitted he is "far from perfect".
"I would like to issue a statement as I believe stories, half truths and lies have been circulated in the media by various parties and are to a large extent innacurate."
He continued: "This was at times before and during my relationship with Caroline. But I do not believe Caroline was party to this. One ex-girlfriend and another girl have chosen to go to the press to divulge stories that were embellished.
"For the record I saw one for a few dates and one for a number of weeks. Lack of trust was a major factor in my decision to end these short relationships."
"We were deeply in love, as proven by the level of commitment from the early stage of our relationship. For reasons personal to us, we mutually decided it was going to be very difficult to sustain a long term relationship, but was more about our personalities than our actions."
"I am for from perfect," he added. "But I have learned a great lesson in how those human imperfections can be blown out of all proportion."
Love and respect always,
