In this exclusive sneak peek of the next episode from Carrigstown, Jake and Emmet clash heads.
Coming up in Thursday night's Fair City, Jake annoys Emmet by approaching Tessa in McCoy's about staying away from Farrah.
Tessa stands up to leave and Emmet intervenes, asking Jake who he is to tell her where to go. She tells Fionn they're going home but Emmet isn't having any of it.
"No, you stay where you are", Emmet says, telling Jake: "You need to back off. You do not get to threaten her."
Tessa and Fionn start walking away but Emmet can't drop it, sarcastically asking Jake if he's some sort of vigilante.
Emmet scolds Jake for scaring his son Fionn. "You believe everything she tells you, don't you?" is Jake's cutting response.
"You take that back", demands Emmet.
Jake won't be stopped, saying: "Oh but you have a history of being taken in. You were brainwashed by the cult, that's your problem, you're completely gullible"
Emmet can't take it any longer and lunges at Jake to attack him.
