Rainie warns Max that they need to up their game in order to appear more convincing as a 'couple'. She arranges a meal for her, Max, Jack and Mel, but Max feels like she's going overboard and isn't impressed.
Later, when Jack and Mel head upstairs to give them some space, Rainie shocks Max by kissing him.

Robbie tires to convince Craig that everything is sorted, but Craig is sceptical about his reliability and asks him to make amends with Nora before they leave.
He does so, and says goodbye to her and Jack. Carol admits to Robbie that she would rather he stayed in Carrigstown, but what they had before is gone for good. Robbie tells Craig that the only thing that could keep him around would be Carol taking him back - with that off the table, he departs, leaving his wedding ring behind.

This week on Coronation Street, young Jack Webster's life is in the balance when he develops sepsis.
Early in the day, Jack complains to Sophie that he's not feeling well but she is sceptical and insists that he should go to school. He is sent home sick and Sophie feels awful. She takes him to the doctors who say he is suffering from a virus.
Sophie goes back to work and asks Faye to keep an eye on Jack. His condition soon worsens and Ali tells them Jack needs to go to hospital. Click here for more.

When Toadie finds out that he is the father of Andrea's baby, Sonya is devastated by the turn of events. When he tells her that he needs time to adjust to the news before he can consider going ahead with their plans for IVF, Sonya is gutted.
Trying her best to embrace baby Hugo and treat him as part of their family, Sonya struggles as her heart just isn't in it, and she doesn't know how it will impact her relationship with Toadie and their future.
