Poldark star Aidan Turner has started dating US actress Caitlin Fitzgerald after meeting on the set of The Man Who Killed Hitler and then the Bigfoot.
The 34-year-old Dubliner, who is best known for playing smouldering Ross Poldark in the popular BBC series, was spotted enjoying a romantic getaway in Paris over the weekend with the US actress who is best known for her role in TV drama Masters of Sex.
The pair were reportedly spotted walking hand-in-hand along the Seine, with Turner seen stopping to plant a tender kiss on his girlfriend.
According to the Mail On Sunday, Aidan and Caitlin met while filming The Man Who Killed Hitler and then the Bigfoot. They play lovers in the fantasy movie, which will be released next month.
Turner recently revealed he is in a new relationship but did not disclose the name of his new partner, coyly saying: ''I do have a girlfriend, yeah.''
"I’ve been in that world before where you’re with someone who does the same thing and it can be quite difficult sometimes because that’s all you are," he told the Sun.
"You go home and talk about casting directors, the press and the next job and it becomes quite dull.
"There’s nothing like going out with someone who just doesn’t care about what you’re doing, let alone has anything to say about it. That’s what turns me on."
