Gal Gadot has given fans a sneak peek of Wonder Woman 1984, the eagerly-awaited upcoming sequel to her hit superhero epic Wonder Woman.

The Israeli actress, who plays the titular crime fighter with the cool charm bracelets, shared a photograph on Twitter of herself in full costume, complete with gold headband, and captioned the snap: "She’s back… #WW84."

Director Patty Jenkins recently confirmed the title of the new movie and she also revealed some shock news - Chris Pine will be reprise his role as Steve Trevor despite dying in the first movie. 

New publicity shots from the set of the sequel seen on Wednesday show Pine in a natty tracksuit strolling around a typically eighties shopping mall.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set to open on November 1, 2019 and it sees the scourge of all evil doing battle against classic comic book villain Cheetah (who is being played by Kristen Wiig), with Pedro Pascal of Game of Thrones also joining the cast.
