Fans of the superb BBC nature series Blue Planet II can look forward to seeing the stunning footage from David Attenborough‘s TV series live with a symphony orchestra when it goes on tour next year.
It promises to be quite an immerse experience as Attenborough's underwater adventures will feature on a state-of-the-art 200-metre Ultra HD LED screen.
The tour stops off at Belfast's SSE Arena on March 23 2019, heading to Dublin for a date at the 3Arena the following night.
The spectacular scenes of marine life will be backed by the Hans Zimmer, Radiohead and Bleeding fingers soundtrack which featured when the programme ran originally on BBC One.
The tour, which will start on March 13 at the Bournemouth International Arena, will consist of 13 dates, including shows in Leeds, Glasgow, and the O2 Arena in London.
It will conclude on 28 March at the Sheffield FlyDSA Arena.
Tickets for the shows are set to be released on June 8 via Blueplanet2live.co.uk. Advanced booking through the venues will be available from June 6.
