Cheryl Cole has revealed that after welcoming baby Bear with boyfriend Liam Payne last year it took her "six months" before she started "feeling human again".
Speaking to Hello! magazine about how her beauty regime has changed, she revealed that she suffered badly with dark circles and pigmentation during pregnancy.
"My son’s one and I had to do something", she admitted. "When I was pregnant I had pigmentation on my face so I wanted to start to correct that.
"I would say my beauty regime came back after about six months. That’s how long it takes to start feeling human again."
Admitting she now looks after herself more since becoming a mother, she added: "You realise how much you need to take care of yourself and you respect your body a lot more for what it can do - I do, anyway. Taking care of your skin can make you feel good."
When asked how she manages to juggle work and being a mother, Cheryl explained a situation that will strike a chord with many: "I just plan ahead. It’s planning not to fail.
"I’m quite organised when it comes to the baby because I have to be," she added. "And if I plan, then I can book in the grandparents."
