Later, Gary snaps when Phelan goads him and gives him a kicking. Suddenly, Phelan rears up and throws a chair at Gary and barges into the builder's yard where he pulls out a gun. Will he kill again?

Elsewhere, Jean comes up with a plan to raise some money and get Kat some cheap tickets to visit her family in Spain. Kat tries to hide her worries over the situation and agrees to go on the trip.

Things look up for Damien when Caoimhe agrees to allow him to FaceTime with Saoirse once a week. He also hopes to get some work from Melanie. However, Hayley is unhappy about Melanie making decisions behind her back and is abrupt with Damien. Melanie tells Hayley that Damien could really use the job to provide for his daughter and Hayley reluctantly gives her blessing, but for less money.
Elsewhere, Robbie is fed up of coasting and determines to take control of his life. Carol secretly worries about her ex but hides this from him. Carol meets Yates for and drink and is furious when Robbie interrupts them, accusing her of trying to make her jealous.
