EastEnders has lined up another tearjerker episode for Thursday night as the residents of Albert Square are left reeling after the violent death of youngster Shakil and Mick is consumed by guilt for not preventing the tragedy.
Last week's episodes saw Shakil fatally stabbed and friend Keegan almost killed in the same attack. Mick helped to save Keegan but later turned Shakil away from the Queen Vic. He thought Shakil was drunk and did not realise he had been stabbed.

On Thursday night, Shakil's grief-stricken mother Carmel refuses to attend the memorial service organised in Albert Square for her son.
Carmel also lashes out at Keegan's mother Karen because Keegan survived the knife attack.
When Carmel goes to the laundrette to fix one of Shakil's shirts, she comes face to face with a guilt-ridden Mick.
Mick apologises to Carmel, but what will her reaction be?
