The Après Match team, IFTA host Jason Byrne, actor Emmet Kirwan and author Lorna Byrne are among the line up for the last Late Late Show of the series this Friday night.

Jason Byrne will reveal the "three brains" that make his comedy tick, while Barry Murphy, Risteárd Cooper and Gary Cooke will celebrate 20 years together as the Après Match team.

Emmet Kirwan's short film Heartbreak went viral last year and he went on to be part of theatre production RIOT.

Now he has co-written and starred in a brand new movie Dublin Oldschool, and Kirwan will be telling Late Late host Ryan Tubridy what it was like to star in a movie shot in the city he loves.

Bestselling author Lorna Byrne is known around the world for her books on angels. She joins Ryan on Friday night to discuss her new book Prayers from the Heart and give her advice on how best to use prayer to call on God for help.

When eight-year-old artist Roisin Tansey appeared on The Late Late Show last year, she captured the hearts of the nation. She’s back with a very special project to be revealed live on air.

In a week when the country is reeling from the murders of Ana Kriegel and Jastine Valdez, viewers will hear from Ruth Maxwell, who was subject to a random attack in Clondalkin in 2016. She was able to fight off her attacker, but not before suffering a life-long injury to her hand.

DNA from her attacker was later linked to two earlier sexual assaults on women in the same area and he was recently sentenced to more than 18 years in prison for false imprisonment, sexual assault and assault. Ruth will talk about the ongoing impact of the attack on her and why she waived her anonymity to help other victims.

As the country goes to the polls to vote on the referendum on the 8th amendment, The Late Late Show will also reveal the results of a nationwide Exit Poll live on air.

The result of the poll of 3,000 voters, carried out for RTÉ and a number of Irish Universities by independent research company Behaviour & Attitudes, will not be revealed until after polling stations have closed. Prime Time’s David McCullagh will reveal the result of the overall Yes/No Exit Poll question, as soon as it becomes available.

Plus music from The High Kings and An Emotional Fish.

The Late Late Show, RTÉ One, Friday, May 25th at 9.35pm
