Ash was rushed to hospital by Tori and Justin after they rescued him from beneath the car in the last episode of Home and Away.
In Wednesday's episode, Justin is visibly worried at Ash's bedside in hospital, saying: "He's going to be alright, isn't he."
Tori is honest, telling him: "If his kidney can't handle it we could lose him."
When Ash comes to he starts panicking and lashes out. Justin tries to hold him down on the bed and asks what's happening. He is informed Ash is suffering from acute renal failure...
Elsewhere on the show, Robbo's lawyer advises him to plead insanity, telling him: "You could lose decades of your life in prison. This is the only chance you've got"
