Aidan Turner is reportedly engaged to a mystery 24-year-old law graduate who he has secretly been dating for a year.
The 34-year-old Dublin actor, who is best known for playing the smoldering Ross Poldark in the popular the BBC period drama, is said to have popped the question, than a year after he split from girlfriend Nettie Wakefield.
Speaking to the Mail Online, a source said: "Aidan is engaged to a 24-year-old graduate lawyer from Gloucester."
Turner previously dated Being Human actress Sarah Greene for five years, before their split in 2015.
The Irish heart-throb previously said he would like date someone who doesn't care about his job and is completely removed from the acting world.
"I’ve been in that world before where you’re with someone who does the same thing and it can be quite difficult sometimes because that’s all you are," he told the Sun.
"You go home and talk about casting directors, the press and the next job and it becomes quite dull.
"There’s nothing like going out with someone who just doesn’t care about what you’re doing, let alone has anything to say about it. That’s what turns me on."
