The Ed Sheeran puppet which featured in the video for Sing has been dusted down for the singer's new promo clip, released ahead of his nine date Irish tour.
Happier is lifted from Sheeran’s record-breaking, 14 million-selling third studio album ÷ and is accompanied by a video by long time collaborator Emil Nava, who has previously worked for Eminem and Rihanna.
Shot in New York, the video sees Ed’s lookalike puppet make its return on a song which has already been streamed 400 million times and gone eight times Platinum and five times Gold across the world.
Sheeran also landed two nominations at the Ivor Novello’s this week for PRS for Music Most Performed Work for this hit songs Castle on the Hill and Shape of You.
Currently on a world stadium tour, the singer will return to Ireland next Friday May 4 to play 10 dates across Cork, Belfast, Galway and Dublin to over 500,000 people.
