Coming up in Tuesday's episode of Fair City, DI Yates asks Wayne to come into the station for a "little chat".
When Wayne asks why, Yates says it would "help".
Deegan then interjects, saying: "You don't have to. The other option is we arrest you. Right now you have a choice."
Wayne acquiesces and agrees to go to the station with them, saying: "I'm not going to be arrested in the pub in front of everyone."
Robbie and Aoife rush over and ask Yates and Deegan if Wayne is under arrest.
"Whatever you might hear, I'm innocent", Wayne tells them, adding: "Robbie I'm really sorry."
Robbie leans close into Wayne and responds threateningly: "Keep talking. Say it!"
