Veteran Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood is worried he may be replaced on the upcoming series of the dancing show.

The 53-year-old star will have to wait until June to find out if he will be featuring in the next season of the competition, which is due to air later this year, and admits he knows that everyone on the show is "replaceable".

Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "Everyone is replaceable, everyone."

"They could get someone else to replace me. They wouldn’t be as good though!".

"I usually know around June. So it will be a month and a half before I know if I’m doing the next series," he added.

Revel Horwood's position on the judging panel is yet to be confirmed

Revel Horwood recently told the Mirror that the much-loved BBC show will "be better without" professional dancer Brendan Cole. Earlier this year it was announced that his contract had not been renewed.

"Strictly will be better without Brendan," Craig said adding: "More fool him."

He continued: "The show's done him wonders. It's done us all wonders. It's been fantastic. I would never complain about it. It's given us all platforms on which to stand.

"How many dancers in their life get a job that will last 15 years? Not many. Be grateful."

Brendan Cole won't be returning to Strictly

Strictly Come Dancing is due to return to BBC One later in 2018.
