There's a new spooky show called True Horror, US sitcom Life in Pieces returns, while it's cheerio to Not Going Out and What Are You Eating?
Pick of the day
True Horror, 10.00pm, Channel 4
This dramatised documentary series comes from the Bafta-nominated producers of The Enfield Haunting, so it should be good.
Liz and her partner - artist Bill Rich - move into a farm house nestling in the hills of the Brecon Beacons in Wales. Two children arrive in quick succession and Liz collects a menagerie of rescued farm animals. Bill at last has a proper studio space.
But things start to go sour: objects move around the house inexplicably and animals die, and then Bill's artwork gets darker and darker, fuelled by the weird visions the farm conjures in his head.
Liz then turns to the local priest for help as the haunting reaches a terrifying climax.

Anything that calls itself' real' is 'really' asking for it, but here goes: this show aims to give supporters the chance to air their views on the latest twists and turns in the English Premier League.

Someone better call the cops!

Ending Tonight
Not Going Out, 8.30pm, BBC One
It's the season nine finale of Lee Mack's gag-tastic, old school comedy that's neatly reinvented itself as a family sitcom. Plot-wise it's pretty wafer-thin, but it is extremely funny.
This week Lucy (Sally Bretton, who's looking great with her new cropped haircut) is encouraged by Anna to consider whether or not a breast augmentation is the right thing for her.
What Are You Eating? 8.30pm, RTÉ One
In the company of food waste expert Dr Mary Magee, Philip Boucher-Hayes meets Ross and Mel Good who - with two small children who are finicky eaters - are having a hard time controlling their food waste.
Armed with advice from Mary, who’s rummaged through their bin, the family accepts the challenge of reducing their food waste over a fortnight.
But do people really know how to divide their rubbish into recyclables and black bin waste?
Here's an old clip that'll put you off meat:
Stephen: the Murder That Changed a Nation, 9.00pm, BBC One
Stephen Lawrence’s killers remain free, but the public inquiry leads to a change in the law that means that the suspects can be retried.
Questions of racism and corruption swirl around the police. An unconventional detective, Clive Driscoll, takes on the case and, with the help of advances in forensic science, arrests Gary Dobson and David Norris.
As justice seems to be done, revelations that the police spied on the Lawrence family start to surface.
Don't Miss
Life in Pieces, 12.40am, RTÉ 2
It's the season two opener of this enjoyable US sitcom about a family's highs and lows as chronicled through the eyes of each of its members. Yep, just like Modern Family.
Heather and Tim enlist Clementine's unusual parents, Mary-Lynn (Megan Mullally from Will & Grace) and Spencer (the great Nick Offerman, Mullally's real-life husband), to help convince Clementine and Tyler to annul their unexpected marriage.
Also, Tommy moves in with Colleen, much to the annoyance of her roommate, Dougie.
