Scott Eastwood hopes to return to Fast and Furious

Scott Eastwood told RTÉ Entertainment that he hopes he will get the chance to return to the Fast and Furious franchise, although he hasn't read a script yet.

Speaking about whether or not he would like to film another in the series, having starred in Fast & Furious 8 last year, Eastwood said, "I haven't read a script yet but I hope so… It's a great franchise to be a part of."

Eastwood can next be seen in Pacific Rim Uprising, and he said there are always challenges involved in projects that involve so much CGI work.

"Films of this scope and films this big are always challenging, the CGI component in this film is probably 50:50 to actual sets that were built so with that there will be some challenges," he told RTÉ Entertainment.

Director Steven S. DeKnight did try to make the lives of his actors easier however, showing them work-ups of his vision for how the film would look after the CGI was complete.

"Our director had a pretty clear vision of what he wanted so he was able to walk us through it and show us pre-vis which is a light animation, a very rudimentary outline of what it could look like… That would help," Eastwood added.

Pacific Rim Uprising hits cinemas on March 23.
