Eileen Grimshaw and Pat Phelan are set for a massive showdown next week on Coronation Street after she finally finds out about her husband's murders.
Warning: Spoiler Alert!
In explosive scenes set to air next week, the net starts to close in on evil Phelan after he is told the concrete he laid at the mill site is being dug up due to his shoddy workmanship.
Realising that Andy Carver and Vinny Ashford's bodies will soon be found, the builder convinces Eileen to go on a seaside holiday with him, while secretly planning to make a permanent getaway.

Once Phelan and Eileen have left the cobbles, Seb Franklin and Gary Windass join forces to dig up the concrete themselves, convinced that they'll find the gun that was used to kill Luke Britton.
Instead, they accidentally stumble upon Andy and Vinny's remains.
The police arrive at the mill and initially arrest Gary under suspicion of murder but it's not long before they realise the real culprit.
The Street's residents also realise they need to warn Eileen about her murderous husband and Tim Metcalfe leaves her a voicemail telling her what happened at the mill site.

At the seaside, everything falls into place for Eileen as she realises Phelan is trying to make a getaway in a boat without her.
She confronts him furiously, calling him a liar, murderer and a rapist and threatens to throw his boat keys into the water to stop him getting away.
However, they end up having a tussle over the keys and the rusty harbour railing gives way.
Could this spell the end of Eileen, Phelan, or both of them?

Actress Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen, said of the showdown: "It comes as an absolute shock to Eileen, the fact that two bodies have been found and Phelan is behind the deaths is hard to take in, it rocks her world and she’s in a very vulnerable position because she’s on her own with him.
"He turns on her. It's back against the wall time and she realises what Phelan is truly capable of, he could kill her. There's a tussle and it's a fight for her life."

She said of filming the scenes: "It was brutal. My face was actually grazed from the horizontal hail and sleet.
"I had two pairs of thermals, two jumpers, a pair of thick trousers and waterproofs, a padded fleece and two coats underneath my costume! It was like someone was just picking up bucket loads of sea water and throwing it in your face, Tiswas-style.
"On top of that, they were very hardcore storylines emotionally. It was great and really satisfying. We had a fantastic team and everybody just worked so hard. The lighting is amazing, the stunt guys were incredible, it was a job well done, Dunkirk spirit.
"It's probably the most challenging stuff I've had on the Street and the most exciting. I've loved it."

"It’s been fabulous as an actress and it’s been great to really get my teeth into something, the storylines have just kept coming and I’ve loved that aspect of it", Cleaver added.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, March 30 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on TV3 and UTV.
