The Script created a world record on St Patrick's Day by buying a round of drinks for 8,000 people.
Danny and the boys were playing a live show in Brussels last night, and celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day by asking every one of the fans in the 8,000-capacity venue to join them in toasting the occasion.
During their third song, Paint the Town Green, the band asked everyone present to raise their glasses in honour of Saint Patrick’s Day.
By giving everyone in the audience a token for a free drink, they broke a world record by making it the largest round of drinks ever bought.
After the gig, the band went on Twitter, stating: "We just bought the biggest round of drinks in history, on #StPatricksDay for everyone at our show in Brussels tonight… Sláinte".
