The Stranglers and Everything Everything are among the acts who have been forced to reschedule their Irish gigs following the onslaught from Storm Emma.
Veteran post-punks The Stranglers, whose hits include Skin Deep, Peaches and Golden Brown, were due to play Dublin, Limerick and Belfast over the next few nights, while Manchester act Everything Everything were scheduled to play Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Wednesday night but were forced to abandon the show following their soundcheck.

Following consultation with the government’s National Emergency Co-Ordination Group (NECG), concert promoters MCD have confirmed that all of these shows have been postponed.
In a statement issued on Wednesday evening, MCD,said, "This decision has been taken in the interests of customer and staff safety, and in light of the widespread cancellation of public transportation due to the National Red Weather alert in place in response to Storm Emma."

Fans of Everything Everything are advised to retain their tickets for a new date.
