Actress Emma Chambers, best known for her roles in the film Notting Hill and the television series The Vicar of Dibley, has died aged 53.
A statement from her agent said she passed away from natural causes on Wednesday [February 21] and would be "greatly missed".
The statement continued: "Emma created a wealth of characters and an immense body of work. She brought laughter and joy to many.
"At this difficult time we ask that the privacy of the family and loved ones be respected."
In Notting Hill, Doncaster-born Chambers played Honey, the scatty sister of Hugh Grant's character Will. The much-loved rom-com saw Honey fall for Will's equally untogether housemate Spike (Rhys Ifans).
Chambers' co-star Grant paid tribute to the actress, saying she was a "hilarious and very warm person".

In The Vicar of Dibley, Chambers starred as Verger Alice Horton opposite Dawn French's the Rev Geraldine Granger. The series was co-written by Notting Hill writer Richard Curtis.
Her co-star Dawn French said in a statement that she was a "very bright spark" who was a "loyal and loving friend".
"Emma was a very bright spark and the most loyal & loving friend anyone could wish for. I will miss her very much," she said. She then tweeted saying
Chambers' other screen credits included How Do You Want Me?, Martin Chuzzlewit and The Bill.
She is survived by her husband, actor Ian Dunn.
