Kylie Minogue has discussed her break-up with fiancé Joshua Sasse, revealing that the split left her 'broken.'

In an interview with The Sunday Times, the 49-year old Australian singer says: "I just wanted to stop, I think it's called a nervous breakdown."

The singer travelled to Thailand after the break-up - which occured in February 2017- to 'heal' herself. "I knew I need to heal, " she reveals. "My physical system was compromised. " During that time away, the singer realised that it 'wasn't the right union' (for her.)

She was engaged to 29-year-old actor Sasse but wondered if indeed marriage was for her in the end of the day. "I've never been that woman, that girl who dreams of walking down the aisle."

Kylie will turn 50 in May, and does not want to have her own children, although she has contemplated such a possibility in the past. "Of course I wonder what that would be like but, your destiny is your destiny and I can't imagine, if by some miracle I got pregnant … at this point in my life, I wonder, could I even manage that?'

The singer revealed that working on her new album, Golden, helped her come to terms with the end of the relationship.
