Mum of two Linda McLoughlin took on a Beyoncé number for her Ireland’s Got Talent audition and not only impressed the audience and judges, but she also made an emotional Louis Walsh press his Golden Buzzer.

38-year-old Linda, who lives in Ratoath, Co Meath, told the judges, Michelle Visage, Jason Byrne, Denise Van Outen and Walsh that she didn’t have any self-belief and hoped she would get through the song.

When she revealed that she was going to sing Listen by Beyoncé, a shocked Louis told her that was an "ambitious choice" and hoped that she could do it.

However, he need not have worried, because Linda had everyone on their feet by the time she hit the chorus.

Her powerful performance brought Denis to tears and ended with Louis pressing the Golden Buzzzer, meaning she sails straight through to the semi-finals.

Joining her on stage following her performance Louis told a crying Louise that she has the "most amazing voice" and that "she doesn’t know how good she is".

"She is so nice and normal and she looks amazing. She sang her heart out."

Michelle also heaped praise on the Cabra native telling her: "That song is so difficult and the only one who can really sing that song is Beyoncé. And now you."

Jason said: "I was watching you sing that for your family. You kept checking into the wings to your kids and your husband – that is just beautiful.

"And it feels like that’s where it was coming from; you had your whole family in your heart."

After gaining her composure Denise added: "I am emotional wreck. The fact that you are 38 and you had no self confidence, I don’t understand that because you are so amazing.

"I felt every word of that song and I just thought you were phenomenal. I’m so glad Louis pressed that Golden Buzzer because you deserve it. You really do."
