Coronation Street's Aidan Connor is faced with a difficult decision next week when his sister Carla's health worsens.

Carla's (Alison King) health has been deteriorating quickly and she is in desperate need of a kidney transplant, although she has been keeping this a secret from her family.

She ends up collapsing in The Rovers while having a drink with Daniel (Rob Mallard) and Roy (David Neilson) is forced to reveal the truth about her serious health issues.

Her dad Johnny is devastated by the news, and the fact that he's been kept in the dark.

However, he's stunned and grateful when he learns that Aidan (Shayne Ward), who has agreed to donate his kidney to his sister, is a match as the Connors rally round to support Carla in the hospital.
