Fans have been left gutted after tickets to Britney Spears' Dublin gig sold out in less than ten minutes on Saturday morning, with many calling for the popstar to add a second date.
The singer announced on Tuesday that she is bringing her Piece of Me tour to Dublin's 3Arena on August 20, which is being touted as the last time fans will be able to see her long-running Las Vegas show.
Tickets priced at €69.50 including booking fee went on sale at 9am and sold out mere minutes later.
There was huge disappointment amongst fans who failed to bag tickets to the 3Arena show.
Amazing that Britney sold out so quickly! She really did THAT. But I’m so upset I couldn’t get tickets for Dublin or Manchester. My heart is hurting.

Other people called for the hitmaker to play a second date in Dublin, particularly since tickets became available at inflated prices on the secondary seller site Seatwave minutes after they sold out on Ticketmaster.
Spears has already added a new London tour date after huge demand for tickets, and will now play the O2 on August 24 and 25.
How about a second show in Dublin @britneyspears. Ireland loves you!! https://t.co/jhq6BFRXKe

The chart topper is touring her award-winning Britney: Piece of Me show this summer after her four-year residency in Las Vegas concluded in December 2017.
Spears will take the show on the road with a limited tour in Europe and the east coast of the US where she will perform in intimate venues to capture the feel of the Vegas production.
Spears opened her Las Vegas residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in December 2013. Since then, the residency generated over $140 million gross venue and sold nearly 1 million tickets across over 250 shows.
The popstar posted on Instagram this week that she "can't wait to get back on the road this summer".
