2016 was bookended by the deaths of two music greats, David Bowie and George Michael, and, sadly, this year has also seen the passing of some much-loved stars of culture, entertainment and the arts. We look back at those we lost in 2017

12 – Al Jarreau, Jazz Singer famous for We’re in This Love Together and After All. Age 76
17 - Peter Skellern, singer/songwriter best-known for You're A Lady. Age 69.
25 – Bill Paxton, actor who starred in Aliens, Predator 2 and Apollo 13. Age 61
