Our faith in Hollywood is at a record low with the ongoing spate of harassment allegations, but one Twitter user has stepped in to try and address the balance somewhat by asking people to share "nice allegations" they have about celebrities.
Twitter user @BAKKOOONN, aka Oliver Leach, asked his followers to share any pleasant encounters they've had with celebrities over the years and the thread makes for a lovely and often amusing read.
Consider our faith in humanity restored, for now anyway.
if anyone has any nice allegations against a celebrity that would be great too. does a famous actor give good christmas presents. does lady comedian alwyays smoke people out

Take a look at some of our favourite anecdotes which have been shared - from Tom Hanks buying a rake of burgers for interns on a show, Eva Green helping a journalist having a panic attack during an interview, and the late Robin Williams consoling a person in floods of tears and paying their bill.
Irish actor Gabriel Byrne also gets a mention for being good with babies!
also when I was an intern at Conan (also a great guy!!), Tom Hanks bought all 50+ interns In-N-Out because he thought we looked hungry

In 2006 I had a brutal anxiety attack 2 minutes into interview with Eva Green. She fetched me a glass of water, took my question notes and proceeded to first read, then answer them one by one into my tape recorder using two different voices.

I was crying quietly to myself after my Mom died in a cafe, Robin Williams noticed me and paid my check. He whispered things usually get better.

I worked with Kathy Bates this year, who is a wiseass. At one point while I was reading my script she tapped me on the shoulder. "Get your face out of that and watch me work, you might learn something." Then walked away. KILLED me. Kathy Bates!! Queen.

Gabriel Byrne was an excellent baby wrangler with bonus points for helpfully explaining to a bunch of New Yorkers how to pronounce my son’s Irish name.

Jack Black once listened very empathetically to girl troubles I was having when I was 18 and gave me solid, mature advice on leaving things be. I didn't realize it was him until someone told me.

Secondhand, but Tom Hanks was apparently very friendly and enthusiastic about humoring my Dad's interest in kaleidoscopes.

Chris Martin of Coldplay visits kids hospitals in every country he goes on tour with his band to. He spends hours talking to the kids, singing them songs, giving them presents and cheering them up. He's never spoken about it and we only know from social media posts from patients pic.twitter.com/t1MaMBys7h

Salma Hayek danced with my little sister at a party once, as did Shannon Doherty, and Spice Girl Mel C played Connect 4 with her. Lucy Liu was so incredibly kind and lovely when we worked together when I was nine that she became one of my first big crushes.

Jesse Eisenburg moved here a few years ago bc he likes quiet small town life and he donates massive amounts of money and work to the domestic violence shelter here. I haven’t met him yet but everyone who has says he is a sweet and generous person. https://t.co/2WfawGEV5x

Doc Strange (Cumberbatch) visited the hospice my cousin worked at. It was right by where he was filming. She told him they try to spend extra time with people who don’t get visitors. He ended up spending all his breaks visiting those people and continued to after they wrapped.
