Country singer Carrie Underwood fell and broke her wrist forcing her to cancel a performance at a Country Rising benefit show.
The award winning 34-year-old singer fell outside of her house and sustained cuts and bruises and was hospitalised in Nashville.
In a statement to People magazine a representative said that: "Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes," Underwood’s rep said.
The country singer tweeted:
Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody...I’ll be alright...might just take some time...glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.
