Twitter has doubled its character limit to 280, which has had mixed reactions from users. What do you think of the new character limit - yay or nay? Have your say here!
Since the new character limit has rolled out, voracious Twitterer President Donald Trump has embraced the extra space with open arms. Not everyone has been so agreeable about the update, however.
TV presenter and comedian Stephen Colbert quipped: "If there's one thing we could ask for from 2017, it wouldn't be "more Twitter.""
Irish writer Marian Keyes was equally displeased, saying: "Constructing a 'good' sentence from 140 carefully chosen characters gave me SUCH joy. Now it's ALL FECKEN RUINED."

Thanks,

Chrissy Teigen wasn't having ANY of it either.
I will NEVER use 280 characters nor will I favorite or retweet a tweet with them. THIS IS MY FIGHT SONG
