An arrest warrant for Charmed star Rose McGowan has been issued in the US after airport police allegedly found traces of narcotics on her belongings earlier this year.
The Associated Press reports that the arrest warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance arises from a police investigation of personal belongings McGowan left on a flight arriving into Washington Dulles International Airport from Los Angeles in January.

Police have said they have tried to contact the 44-year-old so she can appear at a court in Loudoun County, Virginia to answer the charge. The warrant for McGowan's arrest has been inputted into a national law enforcement database.
"Are they trying to silence me?" McGowan tweeted on Monday about the warrant for her arrest. "What a load of horses**t."
McGowan is one of the leading campaigners against sexual harassment in Hollywood and has alleged that film producer Harvey Weinstein raped her. Weinstein has said through a spokesperson that "any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied".
