Paul Walker's 18-year-old daughter Meadow Walker has reportedly settled the wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche following a car accident almost four years ago that took the lives of her father and his friend.

The Fast and Furious actor died on November 30, 2013 while in the passenger seat of a Carrera GT Porsche driven by his friend Roger Rodas, when it crashed into a row of trees.

According to documents obtained by E! News, the lawsuit was settled with the German car manufacturer on October 16.

The terms of the settlement are confidential, but the documents state that a settlement has been reached and both parties have requested for a dismissal of the lawsuit.

Meadow and her lawyers sued Porsche over allegations that the Carrera GT lacked key safely features. The suit alleged that Porsche knew that the specific car in Paul's case "had a history of instability and control issues."

Porsche denied any responsibility over the fatal accident, saying the crash occured due to "reckless driving and excessive speed".

Meadow Walker was awarded $10.1 million by the estate of Rodas in 2016.

Her lawyer Jeff Milam told People at the time that she had received a multi-million dollar settlement, however he argued that the amount was not sufficient.

Milam said: "The amount paid by the estate of Roger Rodas into a trust for Meadow Walker only covers a fraction of what her father would have earned as an international movie star had his life not tragically been cut short.

"Through his estate, Mr. Rodas, the driver of the car, took partial responsibility for the crash. Meadow's lawsuit against Porsche AG – a $13 billion corporation – intends to hold the company responsibly for producing a vehicle that was defective and caused Paul Walker's death."

Walker is best known for his roles in the Fast & the Furious franchise, having appeared in five of the six films about illegal street racing and heists. He was as working on Fast & Furious 7 at the time of his death.
