Ewan McGregor has reportedly split from his wife of 22 years, Eve Mavrakis, with whom he shares four children.
A source told US publication People that McGregor and Mavrakis have been separated since May, however the couple have not yet publicly commented on the reports.
The news comes after the Trainspotting actor was photographed kissing his Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead in a cafe in London.
The paparazzi photos were published in Sunday's edition of The Sun newspaper. Onlookers told the paper that they were together for more than an hour and left the cafe on McGregor's motorbike.
McGregor and French production designer Mavrakis met on the set of the court drama Kavanagh QC in 1995. They married and relocated to Los Angeles where they raised four daughters, including a child adopted from Mongolia.
The 46-year-old actor and 32-year-old Winstead played on-screen lovers in the third season of the FX crime drama Fargo.
American actress Winstead was previously married to film director Riley Stearns for seven years. The couple announced their separation in May.
