Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon has been arrested after allegedly attacking his girlfriend.
The actor, who played Xander in the cult supernatural TV series, was arrested in Palm Springs, California, after an alleged incident involving his girlfriend.
According to USA Today, the 46-year-old actor was involved in a dispute on Wednesday October 11 with his unnamed partner, during which he pulled her hair and her arm. He was apprehended by police for felony domestic violence as well as violating a protective order.
A sergeant from the police department said in an interview with KESQ-TV: "He was with his girlfriend and they got into an argument. During the argument at the bar, he pulled her arm and then violently pulled her by her hair."

He was released from jail the following day on $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on November 28.
This incident comes two years since Brendon's last arrest. In 2015, he was arrested in New York after allegedly choking his girlfriend in a hotel room. He was charged with robbery, criminal mischief and obstruction of breathing.
Before the New York incident he had already been arrested three times that year, with charges ranging from public intoxication to property damage.
In June 2015, the actor who has also starred in Criminal Minds and Without a Trace, announced on his social media pages that he had entered a treatment programme.
