Cliff Richard last year admitted he stopped making music because he didn't think it would be played on mainstream radio stations.

The 77-year-old Mistletoe and Wine singer believes artists like himself and Elton John have no chance at making it to the top of the charts anymore.

Despite his concerns Cliff Richard still delighted fans in Ireland playing in the Marquee in Cork in June, jokingly referring to himself as the Justin Bieber of the 1950s, to fans who sang along to his hits.

The two concerts will be taking place at the INEC, Killarney on September 27, Dublin's 3Arena on September 29 2018.
