Following their recent shows in Dublin's Vicar Street and Cork Opera House's Sounds From a Safe Harbour, acclaimed US band The National have announced their return to the capital with two shows at Donnybrook Stadium next June 15 and 16.
A full line-up of special guests for each day will be revealed over the coming weeks and Tickets go on sale Friday 13th October 13 at 10.00am through www.ticketmaster.ie and usual outlets. A day ticket is priced at €76.00 and a two-day ticket is €136.
The National have built a strong Irish fan base since their first Irish gigs In December 2002 when they played Auntie Annie’s in Belfast, the Cobblestone in Dublin and the Triskel in Cork as part of their first ever European tour.
They finally topped the Irish album charts last September with their seventh album Sleep Well Beast.
