X Factor hopefuls competing to get into the next round gave it their all this weekend so that they could make it to Wembley next week.
Benji Matthews from Cornwall took the risk of writing a song about Danny Dyer's character in EastEnders, he was lucky the risk worked and his song inspired by Dyer and Kellie Bright's Albert Square alter-egos, Mick and Linda worked.
He modestly said that: "It's just a little a love song inspired by characters on EastEnders if I'm being totally honest with you, Mick and Linda," he said.
The not easily swayed Simon Cowell complimented him saying that he was "a great songwriter" while the most fair judge Sharon Osbourne said he was "fantastic".

Many were disappointed to learn that they would not be moving on to the next round, but that could not have been further from the truth for 27-year-old Sam Black.
Britain's most positive man from the Isle of Man turned a bad experience into a good one by proposing to his girlfriend who was in the audience as the judges looked on in amazement.

Luckily his first negative experience in the day was counteracted by the positive response from his now fiancée Emma, even if he did put the ring on the wrong finger. Cowell tells the plasterer "it's the wrong hand" he replied: "It'll do for now!"
The plasterer who had previously told the judges that he "lives" for his girlfriend of five years, and their eight-month-old baby, said "she's my rock".
The judges said: "I wish we could say 'yes' but this is better than a 'yes."'
Meanwhile two Irish teenager brothers from Wicklow made it through to the next round.

Simon Cowell was less than complimentary with their first performance of a Madcon song saying:"This was my least favourite performance of yours. I didn’t like the song, I didn’t like the way you had to push your vocal so much on it."
They then got to sing again and sang an Ed Sheeran song with the judges responding more positively. Nicole said: "They have so much fire in their bellies and that there's something really raw about them." Sharon Osborne said that they were very nervous and Simon Cowell noted: "When they start getting nervous they get faster and faster and more manic."
The pair will now have to take the Six Chair Challenge with Nicole stating: "This is really hard for us because Simon’s right, this is not your best audition for us. The nerves took over. We always saw a lot of potential in you and we always liked you from the beginning so I’m afraid you’re going to have to go to the Six Chair Challenge."
