It's clear that Kerri-Ann and her ex-fiancé Mondo still have a strong bond as they share a moment on Tuesday night's episode of Fair City.
Kerri-Ann is disappointed when her husband Decco refuses to accompany her to a dance in the Community Centre. She confides in Cass and gets upset just as Decco arrives.
Decco asks Cass why Kerri-Ann is out of sorts and Cass explains it is because he won't take her to the dance. He says he's too stressed at work to be concerned about a dance.
Later, Kerri-Ann arrives at the dance alone and bumps into Mondo, who tells her he is also flying solo because Melanie has a family emergency.
He asks her to dance and they share a moment, leaving no doubt that feelings linger between them.
Speaking about Kerri-Ann and Mondo's bond, actress Jenny Dixon said: "Her and Mondo have become good friends and been there for each other but now he has resurfaced and caught her eye again.
"She is 'Kerri-Ann Bishop' and now married to Decco and has had some wonderful times with him but also some that she never thought she would have had.
"I think this is especially true since Kerri-Ann and Decco are going through difficult times trying to start a family. She looks and wonders if her happily ever after and the romance she so desires is possibly with Raymond and if she should have stayed with him after all.
"It's definitely a turn of events and makes it an exciting story to watch!"
