Lady Gaga postpones European leg of world tour

Lady Gaga has postponed the European leg of her world tour until early 2018.

The singer had been due to embark on a six-week European tour on September 21 in Barcelona, Spain and was scheduled to conclude the tour on October 28 in Koln, Germany.

However, the singer has been forced to postpone the dates until next year as she is suffering from severe physical pain that has impacted her ability to perform.

According to a statement from Live Nation, Gaga plans to spend the next seven weeks working with her doctors to "heal from this and past traumas that still affect her daily life, and result in severe physical pain in her body".

She tweeted that she will tell her story in more depth when she feels stronger, adding that she is disappointed to see people online suggest she was being "dramatic" about her health struggles.

She said that trauma and chronic pain are keeping her from "living a normal life", adding: "They are also keeping me from what I love the most in the world: performing for my fans."
