Irish newscaster Nick Sheridan has become the latest viral video star after a story tickled his funny bone while presenting on Scottish television.
Sheridan, a former presenter on RTÉ2's news2day, was presenting on STV2 when a story about a court case seriously tested his ability to keep a straight face.
STV2 also saw the funny side, posting the video on their social media with the caption: "With local news stories like this, sometimes it's hard to keep a straight face..."

Afterwards, the Wexford man thanked people for their "kind words".
