Eastenders burly Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) has been injured in an explosion and was found among the rubbish in Albert Square, could he be killed off?
The man had a hard day after getting decked by Billy who Phil told he gave Jay the car lot because he had murdered his father Jase Dyer.
These angry mob scenes in Eastenders are cringeworthy. And Billy knocking down Phil Mitchell?! They've finally lost the plot! #Eastenders

We all know that when there is an explosion in a soap the end is nigh for one of the characters, just as well its happening now, as they may make the cut for the pantomime season.
Fans have been divided on whether its Phil or not, some joke that always survive, others are not as sure.
We all know Phil Mitchell will survive. That guy has more lives than a cat #EastEnders

There were fans who felt that the special effects in the explosion were not up to much.
That has to be one of the most pathetic explosions ever! #EastEnders
